This handcrafted Kurinuki candleholder is carved from a solid block of clay, shaped with intention to highlight its natural texture and raw form. The surface is enriched with high-temperature white glaze—creating a rich contrast between rugged and refined.

Kurinuki is a Japanese term referring to the hand building technique of starting with a solid block of clay and hollowing it out to create an interior.
